Where to get everything you need for a Music Video
If you have any problems that Isn't explained on this page E-Mail Nappa
You can make a Music Video lots of different ways, the easiest is by using Quicktime Pro
QUICKTIME PRO--450kb-- Then after you click the install.exe it downloads and then it installs --6mb-- First thing is first, a video editing program, I use Quicktime Pro and its the easiest and most user friendly, download the free version you find on the Quicktime Web Site, then register it (To make it QT Pro)
**NOTE** QT 4 is what you need to download, when you register it it turns it into QT pro make sure you click Install FULL!!
This program is used to convert MPEG or AVI files into Quicktime files, it also lets you record stuff using a digital camera, just click on the link and type "main actor" in the search box, it will be the first thing on the results. after downloading the big file, install it. Register it (if you dont, the words "main actor" will appear on your QT file in the middle of the clip) Open Main Actor Video Editor, none of the others if you just want to convert clips. Just open a movie, click on File/Save As and choose Quicktime Movie (If you want QT) or AVI if you want to make it AVI for use with Real Producer or Media On Demand. This program sometimes dosen't get the frame rate right as Mpeg & QT Run at slightly different rates, (A 47 Secs clip in Mpeg may be 45 Secs clip in QT) Sounds don't seem to be affected though, so the sounds aren't in time, but that doesn't matter because you normally delete the sound in a Music Video and add your own Music. it is worth it because you can take clips from other Music Videos that are Mpeg, that you wouldn't have been able to use before.
**NOTE** This program occasionally messes up the first frame of a movie clip, but it is easy to delete this frame using QT Pro
A download program to help you download large files, it allows you to Resume a download if you get disconected during a download.
This program lets you make ASF files (Another type of movie clip that opens in Windows Media Player that not many people know about) and other stuff. Type "Windows Media On Demand" in the search box in the page the link takes you to and then download it.
This program lets you make Real Player files, either from a digital camera or from any AVI file.
Erm, this is bloody expensive, so you probably won't be able to get this.
