He is all of Kami's evil. Piccolo is first to run into Raditz who mistakes Piccolo's high power level for Kakarot's. Piccolo attempts to fight Raditz but he was overpowered. After Raditz left, Piccolo went to Kame House to find Raditz had already been there and taken Goku's young son, Gohan. Despite the fact they were enemies, Piccolo and Goku teamed up to stop Raditz. Piccolo and Goku exchanged punches with Raditz but it was obvious that Raditz was a lot stronger than Goku and Piccolo. Goku remembered that when he used to have a tail and someone grabbed it, he would be paralysed. Goku managed to grab Raditz's tail while Piccolo charged up his Special Beam Cannon attack. But Goku let Raditz go as he lied to him saying he would leave Earth if they spared his life. Raditz took that opportunity to beat up Goku. Goku's son, Gohan, came to the rescue and somehow his power level rose incredibly. Gohan head butted Raditz's chest, weakening him. Raditz then intended to kill Gohan but Goku, despite his serious injuries, grabbed Raditz and held him back. Piccolo recharged his Special Beam Cannon attack and shot at Raditz. Goku was aware that he would die too. Raditz and Goku collapsed on the ground. Piccolo gloated to Raditz on how Goku would be alive in a few weeks thanks to the Dragonballs. Raditz then told Piccolo that two more Saiyans were on their way to Earth. Raditz laughed madly and Piccolo finished him off. Krillin, Bulma and Master Roshi caught up with them and were shocked and upset as Goku died. Piccolo took Gohan, despite protests from Krillin and Bulma. Piccolo knew Gohan had incredible powers and he would try to train Gohan how to control them. Piccolo then left Gohan alone in the wilderness for survival training, while Piccolo trained his own abilities. Piccolo watched over Gohan each night. On one of the nights when the moon was full, Gohan transformed. Piccolo tried to stop Gohan but he was far too powerful. Then Piccolo realised that the only way to stop him was to destroy the moon. Once Piccolo had blown up the moon, Gohan reverted back to his original form. Piccolo removed Gohan's tail for safekeeping. The next time Piccolo saw Gohan was near Mount Paos, Gohan had decided he was definitely going to fight against the Saiyans, so then Piccolo began to train Gohan's fighting skills. Somehow Gohan changed again into his Oozaru form. Gohan's tail had grown back and in the sky was a full moon. Piccolo assumed someone had wished it back with the Dragonballs. Piccolo shot at the moon but his attack passed straight through it. Piccolo soon realised that is was a projection from Goku's old Saiyan pod. It had projected the moon and was announcing Kakarot's destruction commands, which Gohan must have picked up. Piccolo destroyed the spacecraft and the moon projection disappeared causing Gohan to change back. Gohan and Piccolo continued their training until the Saiyans arrived. Piccolo and Gohan joined Yamcha, Krillin, Tien and Chiaotzu on the battlefield. Vegeta and Nappa set their Saibamen on the Earth's Special Forces, they beat them but lost Yamcha in the process. Nappa then took over from the fighting and eventually kills Tien and Chiaotzu. Nappa then attacks Gohan with a huge devastating beam. Gohan was too afraid to move, Piccolo made the decision to sacrifice his own life to save Gohan by jumping in the way of the beam. Piccolo wasn't going to let anything happen to Gohan despite how tough he was on him, he really cared for Gohan. Piccolo was severely injured, he said his last words to Gohan and then died. When Piccolo died, so did Kami and the Earth's Dragonballs disappeared. Piccolo died and travelled along Snake Way. He reached King Kai's and found Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu had made it there too. They all wanted to receive the training Goku had when he was here. However Piccolo didn't agree with King Kai's training, he thought they were stupid so he didn't actually receive training from him. King Kai spoke to Goku while he was on his way to Namek and learnt that Vegeta and a stronger force were there too. It was Frieza. King Kai strictly forbid them to fight Frieza and would only train them if they promised not to. Of course, Piccolo wasn't going to keep that promise. About a week later, Piccolo spoke to Gohan and told him to wish him back first. Yamcha and Tien protested but Piccolo explained that if he was restored then so would Kami and the Earth's Dragonballs. Piccolo was wished back to life and back to his home planet, Namek. He sensed a dying power level and hoped it wasn't Gohan. He flew to the power level and found it was Nail. Nail was dying from a battle with Frieza and he convinced Piccolo to fuse with him. This way Piccolo would he stronger and Nail would become healthy. Piccolo then found Frieza and Krillin, Gohan and Vegeta. Piccolo fought against Frieza alone, confident he could beat him. Frieza was a little surprised to hear Nail's voice come out of Piccolo, but despite Piccolo's increased strength, Frieza transformed into his third form and began to beat the shit out of him. Gohan goes mad and attacks Frieza, but he still is uninjured. Frieza transforms again and kills Dende. Vegeta takes on Frieza and his strength overwhelms Piccolo and the others. They realize how powerful Vegeta is, but worser how powerful Frieza is, as he dodges all of Vegeta's attacks. Frieza attcks and beats up Vegeta, Piccolo and the others can't help Vegeta. Soon Goku arrives and demonstrates his powers. Vegeta is killed by Frieza and Goku takes on Frieza. Piccolo helps Goku by fighting Frieza while Goku charges up his Spirit Bomb attack. Piccolo takes a beating and is about to be finished off when Krillin and Gohan step in. Goku launches the attack and they believe it has killed Frieza. It hasn't and Frieza shoots Piccolo and kills Krillin. Piccolo is unconcious and is taken to Goku's ship by Gohan. Piccolo is transported to Earth and healed by Dende. When Vegeta is about to kill Gohan, Piccolo tells him not to. Soon the lives of Krillin, Chiaotzu, Yamcha and Tien are restored. Time passes and Piccolo continues his training. Kami finds him and asks him to take over his position as guardian of the Earth. Piccolo tells him to shove it up his arse basically. Piccolo senses that trouble may be brewing and tells Kami to be careful. Piccolo flies to Kame House and finds the Spice Boys. Yamcha and the others all want to fight him as they are under the control of the Blackwater Mist. He tells Gohan and Krillin to go while he fights. Piccolo is held back by the Spice Boys as Yamcha, Bulma and Master Roshi bite him and infect him with the Blackwater Mist. He is taken to Kami's Lookout and beats up Gohan. He bites Krillin, turning him evil. Piccolo is about to finish off Gohan when he reveals he was bluffing or he healed himself, as was Krillin. Piccolo fights Garlic Jr and eventually Garlic Jr decides to grow bigger to give him more strength. Piccolo faces problems as Kami's power weakens. Garlic Jr opens the Dead Zone in a final attempt to get rid of them all. Gohan makes a protective bubble around the three of them, Piccolo tells Gohan to destroy the Makio Star as this would get rid of most of Garlic Jr's energy. Gohan refuses as this would mean he would have to let down the shield. Piccolo regains his strength as Kami and Popo escape the Resting Place of the Guardians of Earth and leaves the bubble, followed by Krillin. They attack Garlic Jr and provide a distraction for Gohan. He blows up the star and Garlic Jr shrivels up and is swallowed up by the Dead Zone. The Dead Zone then closes. After the battle Piccolo returns to his training. He senses the strong force approaching. Piccolo goes to where Vegeta, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Bulma, Gohan, Krillin and Puar are. Only Vegeta knew that Piccolo was there and he comments on their constant bickering. The ship lands a short distance away so they all head towards it, keeping their power levels low so they cannot be detected by scouters. They stop when they sense a new power level which is even higher than Frieza's. Krillin wants to continue, thinking that it might be Goku, Vegeta says they won't go any further until he says so. Moments later he continues towards the ship, followed by the others. They see that the stranger has killed Frieza and King Cold by himself. He tells them to follow him as Goku will be landing in two hours time. They follow him and wait for Goku. Only Bulma and Gohan seem to have much trust in the kid, especially seeing as he won't reveal anything about himself. Goku arrives as the kid said and is real suprised to see everyone and wonders how they knew he would land here. They tell Goku that the kid has killed Frieza and King Cold with ease. He asks to speak with Goku in private so they do. The others wonder what they are talking about as they look over every so often and Bulma is sure she heard her name. The kid leaves in his time machine, and Goku returns to group. He says he can't tell what was said. Piccolo then says he heard everything and will tell, but not anything that would endanger Trunks ie the fact that he is Bulma and Vegeta's kid. After learning about what will happen with the Androids they all decide to train. Goku explains where he had been all this time. He says how he escaped Namek and crashed on a planet called Yadrat. He then shows them a new move he has called Instant Transmission. Bulma suggests that they get the Dragonballs and ask Shenron where Dr Gero is now, so they can kill him before he makes the Androids. But Vegeta says they won't have time and Goku thinks that it would be unfair because Gero hasn't done anything wrong yet. They all decide to not do that and Bulma gets angry. Goku asks Piccolo if he will train with him and Gohan and he agrees. The three of them fly back to Goku's house. The begin training. Later ChiChi goes mad and tells Goku and Piccolo to get a drivers license. They go to driving school and both fail. The three years pass and they fly off to meet up with everyone. Everyone turns up except for Chiaotzu who isn't really strong enough and Vegeta. The others can't sense the Androids Ki and realise that they don't have any. Goku gives Bulma the Senzu Beans to look after. Yajirobe's plane gets shot down, so the others all go to find the Androids. Piccolo senses a deing powre and finds that Yamcha has been stabbed by #20. Krillin flies Yamcha back to Bulma to get a senzu Bean. Goku leads them to somewhere to fight. #20 then explains how Dr Gero has been watching them for quite some time. Goku then transforms into a Super Saiya-jin and fights #19. Piccolo is worried and Gohan realises that the heart virus is attacking him. Piccolo remembers that Trunks gave Goku an antidote. #19 begins absorbing Goku's energy, they try to help but #20 gets in their way and shots down Piccolo. Vegeta then shows up and kicks #19 away from Goku. Piccolo says something about it being Vegeta's fault he got shot, I'm not sure what he means but I reckon it's something like he saw Vegeta was just watching and got distracted, then shot by #20. Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiya-jin and easily kills #19. Krillin is confused because he thought that you had to be like Goku and have a pure heart and stuff to be a Super Saiya-jin. Vegeta explains that his motivation to become a Super Saiya-jin was very different to Goku's. He says that he trained under gravities of over 400 times Earth's gravity. He went to a different planet where a huge electric storm occured and meteours rained down on the surface. He struggled to save himself and his ship and got hit by a huge meteour. At that point Vegeta didn't care about anything anymore, whether he became a Super Saiya-jin or lived and that was when he transformed. #20 legs it and Vegeta asks for a Senzu then goes after him. Piccolo realises that Vegeta was bluffing when acting eager to fight #20, although really #20 would have been able to kill him. He is worried that Vegeta is stronger than Goku. The four of them split up and try to find #20. #20 grabs Piccolo from behind and absorbs some of his energy. He telepathically tells Gohan that he is in trouble and Gohan comes and rescues him. They all find #20 and Piccolo beats him up, then the kid from the future appears, saying he hasn't seen these androids before. Bulma turns up in her air car and #20 crashes it and runs off. Bulma says that the android looks like Dr Gero and Vegeta, followed by Trunks, fly off after him. Piccolo tells them that the kid from the future is Trunks and Vegeta's son. Piccolo, Tien and Krillin fly off to find Dr Gero's lab and Gohan takes Bulma, Chibi Trunks and Yajirobe home. The three of them split up and search for the lab. They sense that Krillin has found the lab and meet up. They try to open the door and hear that Dr Gero has already activated #17 and #18. Vegeta blasts open the door and they see the three androids. #17 kills #20 and #18 is about to activate #16 when Trunks blows up the lab. but #17, #18 and #16 are unharmed by the attack. #18 then activates #16, and the three of them fly off. Vegeta wants to follow them but Trunks says they have to wait for Goku. Vegeta punches Trunks and flies off. Trunks tells them they have to stop Vegeta and the four of them fly off after him. When they catch up he has been fighting with #18. #17 says that if any of them intefer then he will have to step in. They watch Vegeta fight #18 and she starts beating the crap out of him. She dislocates his arm, Trunks turns Super Saiya-jin and rushes to help him. Piccolo and Tien follow after him, but they all get knocked out. Krillin later revives them with a senzu. Vegeta flies off alone, Trunks is about to follow when Piccolo tells him to leave him be, and that Vegeta will come back, he just needs time to clear his head. Piccolo then says he's going off somewhere and if any of them follow hthen they'll be sorry. Piccolo flies to Kami's Lookout, Kami-Sama already knows what Piccolo has come for - to fusion with him. Kami-Sama says he wants to wait a little before he agrees. Piccolo sits and waits for a while and after Kami-Sama sees that Cell has attacked Ginger Town, he agrees to fusion with Piccolo. They fusion, and Piccolo then flies to Ginger Town and finds Cell. They fight and Piccolo is almost even with Cell, but he gets grabbed and Cell absorbs some of his energy. Piccolo asks Cell who he is and where he came from, and seeing as Cell is about to kill Piccolo he does. He explains that he is from the future, an android created by Dr Gero. He has traveled through time collecting cells from Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Nappa, Frieza, Piccolo and all the other great martial artists. This is why he knows all their attacks. Although he plans to absorb androids #17 and #18 so that he can become complete. But in his time #17 and #18 were killed by Trunks. He says that he found Trunks and absorbed him, then stole the time machine which went back in time. But to fit in the time machine he had to turn back into an egg. Once he hatched in the past, he buried under ground until he became like he is now. Piccolo then re generates his arm, and Krillin and Trunks turn up. Cell uses the Solar Flare and blinds them, and flies off. Vegeta and Tien catch up and Piccolo explains about Cell. Vegeta leaves, saying that he is going to train to supass the Super Saiya-jin level. Krillin and Trunks go off in search of dr Gero's basement where another Cell is growing, while Piccolo and Tien go off to find Cell. Later they find him and Krillin fighting at an Airport, but Cell runs off again. Krillin, Tien and Piccolo go back to Mastre Roshi's and get Gohan and Yamcha. The five of them fly in the plane to find Cell. Goku appears in the ship and tells them he is going to take Gohan, Vegeta and Trunks to the Room Spirit and Time (or Hyperbolic Time Chamber as it's called in the dub) and train so they can supass the level of Super Saiya-jin. Goku grabs Gohan and using his Instant Transmission he teleports to where Vegeta and Trunks are. The others can't find Cell so go back to Kame House to wait there. #16, #17 and #18 show up and Piccolo goes with them to fight #17. They fight and it's pretty even, until Cell shows up and tries to absorb #17. Piccolo fights Cell at #17's defence and ends up getting beat up. Everyone thinks he is dead, but he manages to just survive. Goku  comes and takes him and Tien to Kami's Lookout and gives them a senzu each. Then Vegeta and Trunks step out of the room. Goku and Gohan go in next, while Vegeta and Trunks fly off to fight Cell. Piccolo and Tien monitor the fight from Kami's Lookout. Vegeta and Trunks return to Kami's Lookout and tell them about Cell's Tournament. When Goku and Gohan finish their training Piccolo spends a day in the room training. Then Vegeta and Trunks each have a day's wirth of training. When the day of the Cell Games arrives they all go to the tournament. But Mr Satan wants to fight first, so they let him. Of course he gets thrown out of the ring instantly. They all watch Goku fight Cell next. Cell and Goku are both very evenly matched, even when Cell uses Kamehameha, Tein's multiform, Special Beam Cannon and Kienzan. Then Cell gets bored with the constraints of the tiny ring, so blows it up. Goku and Cell fight some more. Goku fires a hige Kamehameha right at Cell and he blows up. But Cell regenerates himself. Goku then says that he gives up. Everyone is suprised because Goku never gives up. He then says that someone here is stronger than him, so Cell should fight him instead. Goku goes to Gohan and tells him to fight Cell. Gohan says that he doesn't have enough power to defeat Cell and that Goku is still holding back some of his power. Goku says that isn't true, he was using his full power, the only reason Gohan's thinks he's holding back is because Gohan is comparing his power to Goku's. Gohan confirms this. So Gohan steps up to challenge Cell. They fight but Gohan gets beat up. Goku tells Piccolo that he won't help, because Gohan is still holding back and that he'll be fine. But Gohan still doesn't seem to win. Piccolo realises that although Gohan has the strength he doesn't have the fighting will like Goku. Goku realises what he has done. Cell knows that Gohan is holding back his power and tells Gohan to unleash it. Gohan refuses, he tells Cell that if he taps into that power he will destroy Cell, he warns him not to push him other iwse he will regret it. Cell continues to beat up Gohan to try to get him to unleash his power. Android 16 then grabs Cell, he tells him that he has a bomb inside of him that is powerful enough to kill Cell and that he will detonate it. But the bomb doesn't explode, Krillin shouts that Bulma and Dr Brief deactivated the bomb. Cell then blows up Android 16. Then he creates seven Cell Jr's and tells them to fight Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks, Yamcha, Tien and Krillin. The Cell Jr's are really strong and the only ones able to put up any decent defence is Vegeta and Trunks. Cell then tells the Cell Jr's to kill them. Mr Satan throws Android 16's head over to Cell and Gohan. 16 tells Gohan that it is okay to fight for the right cause. Cell then crushes 16's head and kills him. Gohan gets really angry and transforms into Super Saiya-jin 2. Gohan beats the shit out of Cell, and he even spits up Android 18. Cell is even less powerful and becomes Imperfect Cell. Gohan toys with Cell for a while, despite Goku telling Gohan to kill Cell now. Cell then decides that he will explode, the explosion will destroy the whole planet. No one knows what to do, then Goku has an idea. He says goodbye to everyone and uses his Instant Translocation technique to teleport Cell away from Earth. Gohan is really upset with himself as he blames himself for Goku's death. Krillin and the others comfort Gohan. But then Cell reappears and kills Trunks. Cell is complete again and says that he has learned Goku's Instant Translocation. In the explosion only one cell survived, and that was all he needed to regenerate himself. Gohan is ready to attack Cell again, but Vegeta goes mad because Cell killed Trunks and starts blasting him in a mad rage. One he stops Cell is fine, he then knocks Vegeta down. Cell fires to kill Vegeta, when Gohan jumps in the way and takes the blast, saving Vegeta. Gohan manages to survive the blast, but his left arm is badly injured. Cell fires a beam at Gohan, and Gohan counters it with his own, but he deosn't think he has enough strength left to kill Cell. From Heaven Goku tells Gohan he has the power to do it. Piccolo attacks Cell while Gohan is blasting him. Tien, Yamcha, Piccolo and Krillin all keep blasting Cell to help Gohan. Cell keeps knocking them back until they can't help anymore. Then Vegeta blasts Cell from the sky, Cell looks up at Vegeta. Cell is temporarily distracted by Vegeta's suprise attack and Goku tells Gohan that now is the time. Gohan releases a huge amount of energy and overpowers Cell's beam. The beam hits Cell and kills him, this time for good. Gohan then detransforms and falls to the ground exhausted. They congratulate Gohan on his victory, and then Tien, Yamcha and Krillin take Gohan, Trunks and Android 18 to Kami's Lookout to be healed by Dende. Piccolo says he'll catch up. He tells Vegeta that what he did was very brave, Vegeta says that he doesn't want his thanks or help. Piccolo smiles and tells him that that's his call and he flies off to Kami's Lookout. Piccolo catches them up and Dende heals Gohan and then Android 18. She's a little confused as to what is happening. They tell her that Krillin took care of her after Cell spat her up. Then Gohan blurts out that Krillin has a crush on 18, she gets angry and flies off. Dende then summons Shenron and asks the dragon to revive all those who were killed by Cell, so Trunks comes back to life. Piccolo realises that Goku cannot be brought back by Shenron as this dragon is made from the same as the old Shenron, and Goku has already been revived before. They decide to revive Porunga on Namek because as that is the original dragon, he can revive people as many times as he sees fit. But then Goku speaks to them from Heaven and says that he will stay with King Kai in Heaven. He says that he will be a threat to Earth because all those who've attacked it like Frieza and the Androids have been after him. He says Earth will be better off without him. They agree with Goku. Goku says his goodbyes and tells them all to remember what happens in their lives because when they come to Heaven, he wants to hear about them. Shenron is getting annoyed and demands they make their second wish. Krillin wishes that #17 and #18 are made human again, but the wish cannot be granted. So then Krillin wishes that their bombs are deactivated and the wish is granted. Yamcha asks Krillin why he wanted #17 wished back to, and he says that he thought that 18 would be happier with 17. #18 then shouts at them saying that they weren't a couple and that #17 was her twin brother. She thanks Krillin and then flies off again. Piccolo says that he is going to live on Kami's Lookout and the rest of them fly off home. Seven years pass and Gohan goes to tell him that Goku is coming back to Earth for one day to fight in the World Martial Arts Tournament, so he decides to enter. They all meet up with Goku there.  The first tournament is the Junior Division, and Goten and Trunks make it to the final easily. The fight is quite even, but Trunks wins. Next is the main tournament, they all make it to the final 20 by punching a machine that measures their strength. They all hold back their strength, except Vegeta who breaks the machine. Krillin has to fight some big buy, Piccolo has to fight Kaio Shin, Videl has to fight Spopovitch, Goku has to fight Vegeta and Gohan has to fight Kibito. Krillin is first to fight and wins easily. Next to fight is Piccolo and Kaio Shin. But when it is their turn to fight, Piccolo forfeits the match. Videl is next to fight against Spopovitch, she gets badly injured, and doesn't even cause any damage to Spopovitch despite how much she was attacking. After Videl's fight with Spopovitch, Kibito is to fight Gohan. Shin tells Goku and the others to not interfer with what is about to happen. Gohan goes to full power and Spopovitch and Yamo step in and steal his energy, and then run off. Shin tells them all about a wizard named Babidi who is trying to resurrect a monster called Majin Buu. Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Krillin follow Shin to where Spopovitch and Yamo fly off to. They catch up and hide behind a rock and watch what's going on. Spopovitch and Yamu give Babidi and Dabura the energy they collected and then kill them. Dabura goes to where they are watching, kills Kibito and turns Krillin and Piccolo to stone. Piccolo and Krillin are eventually turned back, although Piccolo is in pieces as Trunks broke him earlier. Luckily Piccolo can regenerate himself. hey watch Vegeta fight against Buu, but Trunks steps in when Vegeta starts getting beat up. When Vegeta gains consciousness he tells Trunks that he is proud of him and that he has to take care of his mother, he then knocks Trunks unconscious. Goten gets angry at Vegeta for hurting Trunks, and Vegeta knocks Goten out too. Vegeta asks Piccolo if he will see Goku when he dies. Piccolo tells him that Goku is allowed to keep his body and go to Heaven because of all the good deeds he has done in his life, but because Vegeta has done evil deeds and been selfish during his life he most likely wouldn't go to Heaven. Vegeta then tells Piccolo to take Goten and Trunks and go as far away as possible. He agrees and flies off with Krillin, they soon learn that Vegeta planned on killing himself. Piccolo tells Krillin to take Goten and Trunks to the lookout, while he goes to see if Vegeta has survived. He quickly sees that he hasn't and pays his respects. He then finds Babidi and mortal wounds him (I don't say killed as he survived). But the parts of Buu start to reform and Buu revives himself and is totally unharmed. Piccolo legs it back to the lookout. Goku soon joins them with the others. ChiChi and Bulma ask where Gohan and Vegeta are and Goku has to tell them that they have been killed. ChiChi and Videl are devestated by the loss of Gohan and Bulma at the loss of Vegeta. Goku sends Trunks to go get the Dragon Radar which is still at the Capsule Corp and Goku goes to distract Majin Buu and Babidi. When they get back Goku tells them that he wants to teach a fusion technique that he learnt to Goten and Trunks so that they can fight Majin Buu. Goku teachs them the dance for as long as he can but he soon has to return to Heaven, so Piccolo takes over. Goten and Trunks soon master the fusion and fly off to face Majin Buu, but get beaten up.
